Elizabeth P. Zaplitny, 82, of Coatesville, died Sunday, December 6, 2009 at her home. She was the wife of the late Joseph Zaplitny and Edward L. Snow, Sr. Born in West Grove, PA, she was the daughter of the late Roy and Sarah Elizabeth Jarrell Brackin, Sr. Elizabeth enjoyed working puzzle books, flower gardening and being with family. Surviving her are two sons, Edward and Arthur Snow; two daughters, Jeannie Dunn and Karen Snow Tierney; step-children, Rupert and Paul Zaplitny and Joan Dunn; two brothers, Roy and Robert Brackin; 20 grandchildren including granddaughter Wendy-Michelle Echeraa, wife of Abdo, who resided with her and 13 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a brother, William and a granddaughter, Karen.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m., Saturday, December 12, at the Lutheran Church of the Good Shepherd, 107 S. 17th Avenue, Coatesville. Family and friends may call at the church on Saturday beginning at 10 a.m. Interment will be in Fairview Cemetery, Coatesville. In her memory the family respectfully request memorial contributions to the Harris-Mountain Funeral Home, 1030 E. Lincoln Highway, Coatesville, PA 19320 to help defray her funeral expenses.
