OVERVIEW OF  CHARGES

To help you understand Funeral Costs we have prepared an outline of the categories that make up a funeral account. There are basically three sections that make up the total funeral account: Professional Service Charges, Casket & Merchandise Selections, and Cash Disbursements.

To aid consumers, legislation provides that all funeral homes must provide an itemized price list of all of their related professional service charges as well as casket and merchandise charges. This list must be available at consumers' request without cost or obligation.  We are pleased to provide you with a full disclosure of our Professional Service Charges, upon your request; please call or stop by for details.

We pride ourselves on always being one of the most reasonably priced funeral homes in the area, although many expect our charges to be much higher given the level of professionalism, quality of facilities and ethical standards.   We trust that this service will give you one more reason to give us serious consideration when seeking a funeral home that is pro-actively working toward providing you the highest standards of services and facilities while offering sensible and affordable solutions. 

PROFESSIONAL SERVICE CHARGES

These include charges for Basic Services of Funeral Director and Staff, Embalming, Other Preparation of the Body, Use of Facilities, Staff and Equipment (including an evening viewing and funeral service conducted at off-site location if desired,) Transfer of Remains to the Funeral Home, and use of Casket Coach (hearse), Lead Car and Flower Car.  Our service charges range from $2320 to $4717, depending on services selected.   

CASKET & MERCHANDISE SELECTIONS

This section is specific to the casket that a family selects. All of our caskets and merchandise are priced separately.  Some of the other types of merchandise you might find in this section of the funeral account are: Burial Vaults, Cremation Urns, and upgraded Stationary packages. Again, each is itemized based on your selection and a total is itemized under the "Casket & Merchandise Selections." Our merchandise price ranges are as follows:  Caskets $7620 to $735.  Burial Vaults $9,515 to $962.  Urns $1,235 to $119.  Urn Vaults $1,178 to $337. 

CASH DISBURSEMENTS

Cash Disbursements are as they imply. As a convenience to the families we serve, we will advance payment to cover third party expenses.

Typical cash disbursements might include:

• Newspaper Notices
• Clergy & Musician Honorariums
• Cemetery and/or Crematory Charges
• Death Certificates and/or Coroner's Permit Fees
• Flowers
• Limousine/Additional Livery Expenses
• Hairdresser
