Bruce J. A. Kirkner

Bruce J. A. Kirkner, 59, of Thorndale died Monday, July 26, 2021 at his home.

Born in West Chester, he was the son of William and Catherine Chernous Kirkner.

After serving in the U.S. Air Force from 1980 to 1981, Bruce was employed in the construction industry.

He attended the Second Baptist Church of Coatesville.

Playing softball, playing pinball and shooting pool were his favorite hobbies.

Surviving him are his companion of 27 years, Lisa Lister; two brothers, William (Debi) and Robert; two nephews, Robert, Jr. (Bridget) and Andrew; and a great niece, Allison.

Services will be held at 11 a.m., Saturday, July 31, 2021 at the Second Baptist Church, 856 Merchant St., Coatesville, PA with Reverend James Smith officiating.

In his memory, contributions may be made to the Second Baptist Church, St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital or the SPCA.
