Dante J. Amadio

Dante J. Amadio, 99, of Coatesville passed away on Tuesday, February 24, 2026 at Harrison Senior Living, Coatesville, where he resided for the past 4 years.

Born in Fairpoint, Ohio, he was the son of the late Aquilino & Giovanna Amadio and attended high school in St. Clairsville, Ohio

He was the husband of the late Innes Scamuffa Amadio who preceded him in death in 2017 having shared 54 years of marriage.

Dante was employed for 42 years at Sonoco Products Company in Downingtown.

He was a life-long member of Our Lady of the Rosary Church.  Dante enjoyed photography, reading, gardening and opera music.

Dante was preceded in death by a sister, Dora Amadio and he is the last of his immediate family.

Surviving him are a few nieces and nephews.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:30 a.m., Monday, March 9, 2026 at Our Lady of the Rosary Church, 80 S. 17th Avenue, Coatesville where relatives and friends may pay their respects from 9:30 a.m. until 10:15 a.m.

Interment will be in St. Cecilia Cemetery, Coatesville.
