John O. Gregson

John O. Gregson, 83, formerly of Coatesville and most recently living at the Masonic Village in Elizabethtown, died on February 27th.

He was the husband of Donna White Gregson with whom he shared 62 years of marriage.

He was the son of the late Harry M. Gregson and Margaret E. Gregson (Morrison).

Surviving him in addition to his wife, is his daughter, Wanda R. Dunn (William J. Dunn); son, Robert D. Gregson (Veronica A. Gregson); 4 grandchildren, Derek W. Dunn (Tessia M. Dunn), Dakota R. Dunn Milewski (Michael Milewski), John R. Gregson, Mallory Gregson; and 2 great grandchildren, Caiden Massi and Dylan Dunn; sister, Gail L. Haught and sister-in-law, Ginger M. Gregson.

He was preceded in death by his brother, Harry M. Gregson, Jr.; sister, Margaret F. Walton; sister, Sandra I. Gregson and brother, Carl Gregson.

He was a former steel worker, police officer and Pepperidge Farm driver.  He was a dedicated volunteer firefighter that served with Brandywine Fire Company of Coatesville and Cochranville Fire Company.  He was a long-standing member of the Brandywine-Goddard Lodge #383 F. & A. M.

He enjoyed life serving others and being a wonderful family man.  He always had a joke and smile for those around him.  He will be greatly missed by his family and his extended family at the Masonic Village Buchanan East apartments.

Funeral services will be held at 12 Noon on Friday, March 3, 2023 at the Harris Mountain Funeral & Cremation Service, 1030 E. Lincoln Highway, Coatesville, where relatives and friends may visit with the family from 10:45 to 11:45 a.m.  Masonic services will be held at 11:45 a.m.
