Obituary

Joseph P. Pilotti, 83, of Coatesville died Monday, May 23, 2022 at his home.

He was the husband of Diane Pentasuglio Pilotti with whom he shared 44 years of marriage.

Born in Coatesville, he was the son of the late Florindo and Hazel Dowlin Pilotti.

Joe served in the U. S. Army from 1961 to 1963.  After his military service, he was employed at the Test Lab of the former Lukens Steel Company.

He was a member of the former LGM, enjoyed horse racing, the Philadelphia Flyers, his family and grandchildren and was a caregiver to his wife.

Surviving him are his children; Nicholas J. Pilotti (Mellisa) and Danielle M. Pilotti; grandchildren, JJ Mendez, Kevin and Ava Smith; and a brother, Frank Pilotti.  He was preceded in death by his brother, William Pilotti.

Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m., Friday, May 27, 2022 at the Harris Mountain Funeral & Cremation Service, 1030 E. Lincoln Highway, Coatesville.  Relatives and friends may pay their respects from 9:30 to 10:45 a.m.
