Mary Frances (White) Gushanas

Mary Frances Gushanas, 79, formerly of Coatesville died Tuesday, December 29, 2020 surrounded by her family at WellSpan Ephrata Community Hospital.

She was the wife of the late Louis Gushanas with whom she shared 39 years of marriage at the time of his death in 1998.

Born in West Chester, she was the daughter of the late Clarence White, Sr. and Florence Pierce Autherment.

Mary was employed as a nursing aide at Hickory House Nursing Home, Honey Brook.  She enjoyed camping, fishing, coloring and spending time with friends and family.

Surviving her are her children; John Gushanas (Rennae) of Coatesville, Mark Gushanas (Catherine) of Parkesburg, Randy Gushanas (Lori) of Middletown, DE, Penny Higley (Manley) of Dushore, Rose Gushanas (Veronica Miller) of Ephrata, son-in-law, Robert Kaczynski; a sister, Alice Gervin of Middletown, NJ; 17 grandchildren and 23 great grandchildren.  She was preceded in death by a daughter, Sue Kaczynski and siblings, Clarence White, Jr., Howard White, Pauline Christman, Florence Rawson, and Beatrice Fiorentino.
