Michael Musa Alimdanat

Michael Musa Alimdanat, 91, of Coatesville died Monday, April 12, 2021 at Chester County Hospital, West Chester.  He was preceded in death by his wife, Anisah in 2011.

Born in Jordan in 1929 and after many trips to the United States, he finally settled in Coatesville in 2014.

In Jordan, he was respected by many family and friends and was a respected community leader, given the title of “selected to lead”.

He was the person that individuals in the community came to for advice, documentation with the government and all affairs of importance.

Michael is survived by his children, Musa, George, Dima, Daad, Lina, Lubna, Amal and Sema; 30 grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren. He is also survived by four brothers and a sister, Tawfiq, Anne’s, Salem, Salim and Anisah.  He was preceded in death by two brothers, Fouad and Issa.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11 a.m., Saturday, April 17, 2021 at St. Peter’s Church, 2835 Manor Road, Coatesville.

Relatives and friends may pay their respects at the church from 10:00 to 10:50 a.m.

Interment will follow the Mass at Fairview Cemetery.
