Michele L. (Pacana) Olesky

Michele Olesky passed away peacefully, Wednesday, February 10 at her home.

She is survived by her husband, Michael and her two brothers, Michael J. and John B. Pacana.  She was preceded in death by her parents, Walter “Buddy” and Maryann Pacana.

Michele Olesky cared about people with her huge heart and loved unconditionally, often putting others before herself.  She was her brother’s caregiver and would do anything for him, from visiting weekly; to making sure he passed his driver’s test.

Michele was also a teacher, and recently said that it’s the small things that matter.  She didn’t judge others and didn’t hold grudges.  She believed we should be honest with our feelings and that when we have troubles, they won’t always be hard.

Michele loved bird watching and had a green thumb demonstrated by expansive flower beds and vegetable garden.  She loved cooking shows and was an excellent baker – cookies, brownies and a recent grand slam dessert, the Blitz Tort, which became everyone’s favorite.

Michele also helped out at the annual church bazaar – washing dishes.   She loved washing dishes!  If you ever had the pleasure of eating dinner at Michael & Michele’s you had better not try to do the dishes, because that was her job and she’d let you know it!!

Michele embodied love, and her inner beauty always shined.  She cared deeply for her husband, Michael – often saying along with that famous giggle, “I love that boy!”

Michele has left this earth for a place far better. We are left to pick up the pieces.  She was not afraid to die, but didn’t want us to be sad.  Until the very end, that was Michele – concerned for everyone else.   We love you and will hold your loving memory in our hearts forever.

Michele worked at Sanofi for 31 years, and is survived by a loving husband, Michael, of almost 26 years this May, 2021.

Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m., Wednesday, February 17, 2021 at Holy Ghost Orthodox Church, 392 Charles St., Coatesville.  Relatives and friends may pay their respects from 9:30 to 10:45 a.m. at the church. Interment will be in Holy Ghost Cemetery, Coatesville.

Forgoing the traditional flowers, donations are encouraged for the Cemetery Perpetual Care Fund at Holy Ghost Church at the above address.
